What is IELTS?

The IELTS test is an English language proficiency test that is used by universities and employers around the world to assess the English language skills of non-native speakers.

The IELTS test is designed to assess the following four skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking.

The reading module tests your ability to understand written texts in academic and professional contexts.

The writing module tests your ability to produce clear, coherent texts on topics given either in a short text or as a picture prompt.

The listening module tests your ability to understand spoken texts in academic and professional contexts.

And finally, the speaking module tests your ability to speak clearly about a given topic with fluency and accuracy.

It is accepted by more than 9,000 organizations in over 160 countries and territories worldwide.
